The Best Karaoke Songs Of 2011 – Country And Pop
Another year has passed us by so it's a good moment to reflect on the past year and discover which songs were the top sellers for 2011. Like we said in our review from last year there are similar reviews. Ours is different in that it provides what people would like to sing in 2011 and not only what they would like to listen to. No review can be completely precise but we believe that these lists are a good review of the most popular music that came out in 2011 and what people who sing karaoke were seeking. The year 2011 Top Karaoke Pop Songs #1 - Rolling In The Deep - Adele (Many people assume Adele is a black singer because of the sound of her voice, however she's definitely not. The sounds you get from her are high-pitched vocals with the feel of emotion behind each note. This is precisely what a singer who is good from the song. The challenge for any singer with 'Rolling In The Deep is to capture the emotion and feeling that Adele expresses in her first version. Of course, you'll get away with not being in the same league as the quality of her voice and be a hit with your fans if you're a six year old girl who sings this song completely with all your heart as did Alexa Narvaez. YouTube which has more than 13 million views.) The melody 'you don't know one thing about me is sure to stay in your head long after the last note of the track is played.) #8 - Lighters Bad Meets Evil & Bruno Mars (Bad Meets Evil ) is a duo of two rappers Royce da 5'9" and Eminem. This duo actually was formed before Eminem was able to achieve mainstream fame in 1999. The duo broke up in 1999. in the middle and have since come back together. The song "Lighters" is an alternative hip-hop track which is distinct from hard core rap especially when it features the vocals that are sung by Bruno Mars.) #9 We Found Love - Rihanna (Rihanna continues to be at her way to the top of charts, this time with a catchy dance song. Many versions of this song include Calvin Harris in the credits but we have not heard a duet version or any other version featuring singers other than Rihanna's.) #10 – I Do Colbie Caillat (Like Colbie Caillat's first single Bubbly, this song is a jolly, happy-go-lucky sunny day song that focuses on taking relationships to the next level. It's the perfect song for an romantically optimistic.) Honorable Mention: Mistletoe - Justin Bieber (Some people may wonder the reason Justin Bieber is once again not on the top 10 list. He also didn't make the top 10 list with any of his tracks in 2010, which could be due to the fact that although his songs are popular with a wide audience however when it comes to singing them, there's an enviable audience. In total, karaoke versions for his songs sold more than any other artist in 2011; Justin Bieber was the top-selling Karaoke artist of 2011. The late season release of "Mistletoe" was close to making the top 10 of songs. The song was highly sought-after throughout November and the month of December. Many are in search of a fresh, new holiday song and this track fulfilled that need precisely.) Top 2011 Karaoke Country Songs #1 #1 Dirt Road Anthem - Jason Aldean (This track is about country life but adds the 'country rap to the mix. The song is very popular and a top choice for karaoke performers.) #2 #1 Fishin #3 - Just Fishin' Trace Adkins (This song is about a father and daughter fishing together. Another feel good country song that will tug at your heart strings.") 3. Country Girl (Shake It For Me) - Luke Bryan (This song is significantly different from the prior success of Luke Bryan 'Rain Is A Good thing'. The title is a sure indication that the song isn't a ballad, nor an anthem. It's a dancing song that became popular and became among the top frequently requested music from the country.) #4 4. Hell on Heels #5 - Hell On Heels Annies (There are a few songs that are cross-overs with country or songs that could be heard on both Pop Charts and the Country Charts. The song is certainly a country song. The Pistol Annies make a strong statement of women's rage, singing'sugar daddy, I'm coming' for you'. ) #5: You Lie The Band Perry (Another country tune about an unhappy relationship. You lie like you lie like a Persian rug, like an ox enjoying the sun, or like one pennies in the lot. There are many country songs. song is about the painful feeling when they realize that their loved one doesn't really matter (and people just love singing about this.) #6 - Honey Bee - Blake Shelton (This catchy tune did well on the Billboard 100 as well as going Number 1 on the charts for country. The broad appeal to the tune (and its popularity because people were singing it) led to it being included in the top ten of the list.) #7 The Barefoot Blue Jean Night - Jake Owen (This track reminisces about the fun one had on his southern summer blue jeans night in barefoot. His buddy Frankie had a connection with the Cadillac with an horn in the front! ) #8 - Story Of Us - Taylor Swift (an upbeat tempo song which by its title could suggest that the song is about a happy romance. Unfortunately the chorus is 'the story of us is one of tragedy today.') #9 #9 This Is Country Music - Brad Paisley (Though not as commercially successful as Brad's earlier songs"This is Country Music' epitomizes what many feel a country song is all about. Country music enthusiasts can be proud of the fact that their music usually has some substance in it's lyrics or message and is not common in a pop song.) #10 - Just A Kiss Lady Antebellum (Lady Antebellum's songs are popular in the world of karaoke because of their duet capability. The way that Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott effortlessly switch lead vocals in the original version makes many singers wish to emulate this in the karaoke versions. The challenge is finding two singers who have the same vocal skills as Lady Antebellum's lead vocalists.) Again the year of 2012 has brought us a slew of new music. So you your karaoke artist must stop singing the same old tune. You don't want the crowd to one more time of singing the same song that you are singing week after week regardless of how well you sing that tune. There's a lot of new songs to sing karaoke. Sometimes it can seem as if there is no good new music out there. However it may seem that this is due to the habit of listening to your iPod' with your pre-selected choices in music. Make it a habit of listening to radio or selecting a music channel more often, then you'll be able to discover a wide range of new selections to choose from.
